Abundance Mindset: Why You Should Hop On It

Hello my readers! Today’s topic got me excited because I used to be that girl with limiting thoughts until I came across the beauty of living an abundant life.

An abundance mindset is about believing that there is more out there for everyone, including you. One of the key  qualities of an abundance mindset consists of the belief that things are possible and that opportunity exists for everyone. 

Here is a little story time. I had a weakness in thinking about what I don’t have. I didn’t appreciate what I had and I was focused on having more and more, whether it’s clothes, money or skills. Ladies and gentlemen, these thoughts sum up to what we call a scarcity mindset, a feeling of lack of resources or opportunities, feeling like you are not enough. When it comes to outcomes, you feel like it’s already taken from you and there is no space or applause or standing ovation waiting for you when you do it. 

With an abundance mindset, you are more grateful for what you have currently and appreciative. You feel more confident and capable and you are able to build positive habits. When I was doing this research, it was mostly centered on money, shifting your mindset from being broke to abundance – inviting money into your space. However, today I am talking about how to live an abundant lifestyle in all aspects of your life. 

What tools do you need? 

You need to shift your mindset more than anything and plant yourself in an environment that does not pull you back to a world of no possibilities. 

Here are a few tips:
1. Don’t limit yourself 
2. Open yourself to opportunities. Don’t brush them off because you think there is someone out there who can do a better job than you. Seize the opportunity.
3. Focus on gratitude. What are you grateful for today? It can be the smallest thing, for example, breathing. 
4. The most important thing is to surround yourself with people with an abundance mindset. To be able to do something whole heartedly, you need to be surrounded with like-minded people who will support your beliefs and grow with you. 
5. Pay attention to your thought patterns. What you think most of the time can make you miserable or the best version of yourself.

As I am writing this blog, I am telling myself that there is more for me and everyone in this world. I am telling myself to open up to opportunities or possibilities and remove myself from feeling like a woman who lacks resources.
